GOLD MEDAL AT THE WINEWISE SMALL VIGNERON'S AWARDS 2006!!
“Well, this is an interesting wine style. Semillon can confuse; ours is all about restrained citrussy flavours and a waxy, viscous texture from the new and second use French oak barrels we use during fermentation. We make this wine much as we would a Chardonnay. It’s pretty rich, full and soft. It demands good food (try Roast Chicken as I have just done) and finishes long and tangy. Try it – you may be surprised. It’s really one outside the square.”
